ACCREDITATIONS

 



Founded in 1966, CARF is an international, independent, nonprofit accreditor of human service providers and networks. CARF accreditation means MVCS business practices and programs have passed an in-depth review. MVCS meets rigorous CARF guidelines for service and quality -- a qualified endorsement that it conforms to nationally and internationally recognized service standards and is focused on delivering the most favorable results for persons it serves. The public is assured that we are committed to continually improving the quality of our services and our organization's focus is on service outcomes and customer feedback and satisfaction.




Since 1985, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) has offered a national, voluntary accreditation system to set professional standards for early childhood education programs, and to help families identify high-quality programs. Our Early Childhood Programs have achieved NAEYC Accreditation which represents the mark of quality in early childhood education. NAEYC accredited programs invest in early childhood education because they believe in the benefits to children and families.  Early childhood experiences—from birth to age 8—have an enormous impact on children’s lifelong learning and positively contribute to their health and development.




Daybreak Clubhouse has been accredited by the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD). ICCD Clubhouses offer people who have mental illness hope and opportunities to reach their full potential. An ICCD Clubhouse is:

• A place where people with serious mental illness (known as Clubhouse members) participate in their own recovery process by working and socializing together in a safe and welcoming environment.

• An organization that operates on proven Standards coordinated by ICCD and effective in over 300 Clubhouses worldwide since 1989.

• A community-based approach that complements available psychiatric treatment.
