Director of Admin and Finance
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration. This position is responsible for monitoring internal controls for accounting, auditing, budgeting, purchasing, inventories, payroll, and administrative services functions. The incumbent will manage daily administrative and financial activities, including financial record keeping and production of financial statements. The position is responsible for preparation of the final operating budgets and forecasts; monitoring revenues and expenses against approved budget. An understanding of healthcare or insurance reimbursement and non-profit experience preferred.
Thrift Shop Sales Associate
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Chicken Alley Thrift Shop is seeking a Full Time Sales Associate. Position will assist management with general retail tasks, intake of donations, and sorting and pricing. Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs. Very fast paced work environment. Must have people skills and be able to multitask while staying calm under pressure.
The Island Wide Youth Collaborative (IWYC), under the direction of MVCS, is seeking a Case Manager. This position serves as a IWYC liaison to the Island schools and other Island programs for youth, as well as a primary coordinator of services for individuals and families. Required qualifications include: prior case management experience and a background in social services or in a mental health setting.

Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a non-bargaining unit, full-time clinical supervisor to join the Island Counseling Center team. The Clinical Supervisor, in conjunction with the management team will provide leadership, support and guidance in the administrative and clinical management of the operations of ICC. Responsibilities include providing administrative and clinical oversight of ICC programs, supervision of staff, staff development and direct services to clients. A minimum of (4) four years post-licensure in a mental health/substance setting with strong knowledge and treatment experience of mental health and substance use disorders. At least (2) two years of supervisory experience in direct supervision, group supervision or peer supervision is desired.
Island Counseling Center Integrated Care Coordinator
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is looking to hire a MA registered nurse to fill the position of Integrated Care Coordinator. Position responsible for integrating behavioral health and medical health history by working with local physicians and nurse practitioners. Previous experience administering Vivitrol and working with patients with substance abuse issues preferred. This is a salaried position.
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a part-time recovery coach. A Recovery Coach serves as a recovery guide or role model in the management of recovery and assists recoverees to identify and overcome barriers to recovery from substance abuse. The Recovery Coach connects recoverees with support services and provides non-judgmental, problem solving and advocacy to assist those in recovery to reach their recovery goals. Completion of a Recovery Certification training is required. Part Time work, per diem, HS diploma minimum.
Master’s Level Mental Health Clinician
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center (ICC) is seeking full-time master’s level mental health clinicians to work with children, adults and/or seniors providing counseling in the agency and community. The successful candidates will have experience with assessment and diagnosis, goal oriented brief treatment models, trauma informed care and managed care. DBT training a plus. New graduates working towards licensure welcome to apply. Must have transportation.
Emergency Services Clinician
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center (ICC) is seeking a Masters level mental health clinician for a full time position in Emergency Services. Provide mental health evaluations to individuals and families in crisis, urgent care services and supporting the administrative functions of our Emergency Services Team. MSW, MA, MS in counseling or related field. Schedule 7:00AM to 7:00PM. Must have transportation. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
Licensed Outpatient Clinician
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center (ICC) is seeking Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers for the community based outpatient behavioral health service system. As part of a therapeutic team, clinicians will provide supervision for MSW staff on track to licensure, office and home-based individual, family and group therapeutic services to a diverse caseload of all ages. Experience in contract management preferred. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus. MVCS is the sole OP clinic for MH/SA and crisis services on the Island. It has a rich history of success and many creative projects in development.
