ViEW NEWSLETTER
In
putting together the Community View newsletter, our development director Jan Hatchard
has interviewed clients whose lives have been touched and improved through our
work. The stories we share in this newsletter are their stories - revealing, emotional
and compelling - and they demonstrate the breadth and scope of the work of our
staff. Busy with the day-to-day work of our programs, and with the challenge of
operating a non-profit in today's economic climate, it is important not to lose
sight of how dependent friends and neighbors are on our help. The sharing of these
stories reminds us to take a moment and appreciate the impact of Community Services
on real lives and real people. It reminds us of the importance of our commitment
to "make life less difficult for each other". It is only through the
enormous contributions of our Board, our Staff and our supporters that we are
able to keep our promise to be there for all in need.
