Supervised Visitation Center Security Office
CONNECT to end violence, a program of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, is seeking a Supervised Visitation Center Security Officer. This position is responsible for providing security for visitation facilitated between children and non-custodial parents. The position is per diem per the visitation center schedule. Responsibilities include but are not limited to securing the premises and conducting safety checks of individuals. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and personal safety skills. The successful candidate must be reliable. Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent experience in the field of personal security or public safety. Valid driver’s license and transportation required. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
Capital Campaign Coordinator
MVCS is seeking a Capital Campaign Officer to work with the Development Director. The Capital Campaign officer is responsible for coordination of the Capital Campaign and major gifts program at Martha’s Vineyard Community Services. This person will be which is charged with managing relationships and securing support from donors who are capable of making gifts of $2,500 and above, either to the general fund or to the capital campaign.
Part-Time Family Support Specialist on Nantucket
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Family Support Center is seeking a qualified candidate to work up to 10 hours/week on Nantucket, providing support for program activities provided by the Family Support Center. A successful candidate will have solid experience with developing/maintaining partnerships, a flexible schedule, strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with families. Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and minimum of a high school diploma.

ISLAND COUNSELING CENTER
Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide pharmacological management and direct treatment to clients. Duties include providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management services, bio-psychosocial assessments and direct care services to clients requesting treatment in Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Qualifications include two or more years of relevant post-license experience and Master’s Degree in psychiatric mental health nursing, ANCC Board certified, MA RNPC licensed, DEA registration and MA controlled substance certification.
Licensed Outpatient Clinicians
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking Massachusetts mental health clinicians for the community based outpatient behavioral health service system. As part of a therapeutic team, clinicians will provide supervision for staff on track to licensure, office and home-based individual, family and group thera-peutic services to a diverse caseload of all ages. Experience in contract manage-ment preferred. Bilingual (English/Por-tuguese) a plus. MVCS is the sole OP clinic for MH/SA and crisis services on the Island. It has a rich history of success and many creative projects in development.
PT Emergency Services Shift Worker
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Masters level mental health clinician for a part time position in Emergency Services. Provide mental health evaluations to individuals and families in crisis, urgent care services and supporting the administrative functions of our Emergency Services Team. Must have transportation. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
ISLAND WIDE YOUTH COLLABORATIVE
Family Support Worker
MVCS is seeking is a full-time Family Support Worker to join our team at the Island Wide Youth Collaborative. Major responsibilities include working with families and individuals to access community programs and services, assist other IWYC staff with client service planning, and work closely with the Program Director on community events and administrative duties. Required qualifications include: excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to self-reflect, self-direct, work in partnership, and maintain confidentiality of information. Bilingual candidate preferred.
