Domestic Violence/Rape Crisis Counselor
CONNECT to end violence is seeking a Domestic Violence/Rape Crisis Counselor. This position is responsible for providing crisis intervention/direct supportive services and advocacy for victims/survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Responsibilities include providing support for community education and outreach projects. Must possess the skills needed to build relationships, provide workshops, participate in the development of public awareness campaigns, and maintain relationships with local organizations. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, computer skills, a high level of discretion, practice confidentiality, be non-judgmental, have a positive attitude, and work competently under pressure. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required. Bilingual skills (English/Portuguese) a plus. Valid driver’s license and transportation required. This is a part-time (32 hours) position.

Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative and office support activities for the agency’s Island Counseling Center, an Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use treatment center. Duties include general office duties, fielding telephone calls, medical records management, orientation for new clients and other duties as assigned.
Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide pharmacological management and direct treatment to clients. Duties include providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management services, bio-psychosocial assessments and direct care services to clients requesting treatment in Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Qualifications include two or more years of relevant post-license experience and Master’s Degree in psychiatric mental health nursing, ANCC Board certified, MA RNPC licensed, DEA registration and MA controlled substance certification.
Licensed Outpatient Clinicians
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking Massachusetts mental health clinicians for the community based outpatient behavioral health service system. As part of a therapeutic team, clinicians will provide supervision for staff on track to licensure, office and home-based individual, family and group thera-peutic services to a diverse caseload of all ages. Experience in contract manage-ment preferred. Bilingual (English/Por-tuguese) a plus. MVCS is the sole OP clinic for MH/SA and crisis services on the Island. It has a rich history of success and many creative projects in development.
PT Emergency Services Shift Worker
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Masters level mental health clinician for a part time position in Emergency Services. Provide mental health evaluations to individuals and families in crisis, urgent care services and supporting the administrative functions of our Emergency Services Team. Must have transportation. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
Thrift Shop Manager
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services is seeking a manager for the Thrift Shop. Successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with Assistant Manager, staff, and volunteers. Responsibilities include devising and implementing sales strategies, forecasting sales, supervising volunteers, training, and other related details. Preferred qualifications include 10 years of sales experience, with at least two in a supervisory role. Successful candidate will have prior experience managing people. Volunteer management a plus.
