Fundraising & Events Coordinator
Reporting to the Director of Development and Communications, the Fundraising & Events Coordinator is responsible for implementing the event goals identified within the MVCS Development Plan. The Coordinator is also responsible for the integrity and maintenance of MVCS’s donor database. Responsibilities include management of MVCS donor database, preparation of bank deposits of donations, preparing timely acknowledgments, coordinating MVCS events and act as lead staff support for event volunteer committees. The coordinator will also coordinate meetings, plan internal events, manage event volunteers, and assist the Director of Development and Communications with carrying out specific administrative tasks associated with the efficient operations of the Development Office. The successful candidate must have 2-5 years of experience in fundraising, development and/or events management, bachelor’s degree, excellent organizational and communication skills.
CONNECT TO END VIOLENCE
Supervised Visitation Center Security Office
CONNECT to end violence, a program of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, is seeking a Supervised Visitation Center Security Officer. This position is responsible for providing security for visitation facilitated between children and non-custodial parents. The position is per diem per the visitation center schedule. Responsibilities include but are not limited to securing the premises and conducting safety checks of individuals. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and personal safety skills. The successful candidate must be reliable. Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent experience in the field of personal security or public safety. Valid driver’s license and transportation required. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Coordinator
CONNECT to end violence, a program of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, is seeking a Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Coordinator. This is a part-time 30-hour position. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing supervision and direct service, program oversight, strong organizational, writing and computer skills, and solid decision-making capabilities. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) preferred. The successful candidate must have flexibility in their schedule, excellent communication skills, discretion, strong understanding of and practice of confidentiality, and have experience working with individuals impacted by domestic and sexual violence. The ideal candidate takes initiative, is detail oriented, and works well independently as well as part of a team. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide pharmacological management and direct treatment to clients. Duties include providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management services, bio-psychosocial assessments and direct care services to clients requesting treatment in Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Qualifications include two or more years of relevant post-license experience and Master’s Degree in psychiatric mental health nursing, ANCC Board certified, MA RNPC licensed, DEA registration and MA controlled substance certification.
Veterans Outreach Coordinator
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a very part-time Veterans Outreach Coordinator to oversee our grant-funded Veterans’ outreach program. Flexible hours. Position requires familiarity with Veterans’ programs and families is preferred. Must be comfortable with social media as well as event planning and coordination.
Licensed Outpatient Clinicians
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking Massachusetts mental health clinicians for the community based outpatient behavioral health service system. As part of a therapeutic team, clinicians will provide supervision for staff on track to licensure, office and home-based individual, family and group therapeutic services to a diverse caseload of all ages. Experience in contract management preferred. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus. MVCS is the sole OP clinic for MH/SA and crisis services on the Island. It has a rich history of success and many creative projects in development.
PT Emergency Services Shift Worker
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Masters level mental health clinician for a part-time position in Emergency Services. Provide mental health evaluations to individuals and families in crisis, urgent care services and supporting the administrative functions of our Emergency Services Team. Must have transportation. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
