Disability Services Part-Time Program Director
The director will oversee the agency’s Island Employment Services program and will develop new programming under a Mass Rehab Commission contract for high school students. The director will also be the community liaison with local business, schools and other agencies supporting individuals with disabilities. A successful candidate will have 5 plus years of experience in leadership roles, program development and management/administrative skills in the field of disability services. MA degree preferred.
The Island Wide Youth Collaborative (IWYC), under the direction of MVCS, is seeking a Case Manager. This position serves as a IWYC liaison to the Island schools and other Island programs for youth, as well as a primary coordinator of services for individuals and families. Required qualifications include: prior case management experience and a background in social services or in a mental health setting.
Daybreak Clubhouse Staff Generalist
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Daybreak Clubhouse is seeking a Staff Generalist for a year-round full-time or part-time position in a psychosocial rehabilitation program for adults with mental illness. Bachelor’s degree preferred with two years’ experience in the field of mental health. Looking for someone with interest or experience in helping folks with disabilities achieve community integration. Emergency Services Shift Worker
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Masters level mental health clinician for a part time position in Emergency Services. Provide mental health evaluations to individuals and families in crisis, urgent care services and supporting the administrative functions of our Emergency Services Team. Must have transportation. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
Licensed Outpatient Clinician
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers for the community based outpatient behavioral health service system. As part of a therapeutic team, clinicians will provide supervision for MSW staff on track to licensure, office and home-based individual, family and group therapeutic services to a diverse caseload of all ages. Experience in contract management preferred. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus. MVCS is the sole OP clinic for MH/SA and crisis services on the Island. It has a rich history of success and many creative projects in development.
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative and office support activities for the agency’s Island Counseling Center, an Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use treatment center. Duties include orienting new clients, fielding telephone calls, scheduling for multiple providers, receiving and directing existing clients, insurance verification and eligibility checks, creating spreadsheets and reports.
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services’ Island Counseling Center is seeking a Therapeutic Mentor for our In-Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and Mobile Crisis Intervention services. Full and part time year round positions available. The Youth Mentor will provide outreach, home-based direct services to children and families dealing with behavioral health issues. In the Mobile Crisis Intervention role the mentor will work with a team to respond to families in crisis. The successful candidate will work with families to improve communication skills, role model appropriate interventions, provide one-to-one mentoring to children, and build problem solving skills with the family. The Youth Mentor is part of a therapeutic team and will coordinate services with other service providers. Must be available for rotating on-call duty. College diploma plus experience working with children and families with behavioral health issues preferred. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
