Executive Coordinator – Healthy Aging Martha’s Vineyard
Healthy Aging Martha’s Vineyard is seeking an Executive Coordinator to provide leadership, vision and direction for Healthy Aging Martha’s Vineyard (HAMV), a program of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services. The Executive Coordinator will implement policies approved by the HAMV Executive Committee, manage HAMV programs and operations, oversee budget, develop fundraising strategies, work closely with community partners, and represent the organization in the community. Preferred qualifications include Bachelor’s degree with professional experience in health care, geriatric care and social services a plus. Non-profit and supervisory experience desired.
CONNECT TO END VIOLENCE
CONNECT to end violence, a program of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, is seeking a Supervised Visitation Center Security Officer. This position is responsible for providing security for visitation facilitated between children and non-custodial parents. The position is per diem per the visitation center schedule. Responsibilities include but are not limited to securing the premises and conducting safety checks of individuals. The successful candidate must have excellent communication and personal safety skills. The successful candidate must be reliable. Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent experience in the field of personal security or public safety. Valid driver’s license and transportation required. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Childcare Center is seeking a part time teacher to join our team of dedicated early childhood professionals in our NAEYC accredited early education and care program. Successful candidates are energetic, compassionate and eager to learn alongside children, colleagues and parents. EEC Teacher or Lead Teacher Certification preferred.
Head Start Home Visitor
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services is seeking a part-time Home Visitor to join our team of dedicated early childhood professionals in our Home-based Head Start program. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) candidates preferred. Successful candidates have a home-based CDA or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children and families. Other combinations of education and experience will be considered for candidates committed to furthering their education. Candidates must have a driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation to conduct up to 5 home visits per week. This position is 20 hours a week, 10 months of the year (September – June).

ISLAND COUNSELING CENTER
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking an Administrative Assistant to perform administrative and office support activities for the agency’s Island Counseling Center, an Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Use treatment center. Duties include general office duties, fielding telephone calls, medical records management, orientation for new clients and other duties as assigned.
Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide pharmacological management and direct treatment to clients. Duties include providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management services, bio-psychosocial assessments and direct care services to clients requesting treatment in Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. Qualifications include two or more years of relevant post-license experience and Master’s Degree in psychiatric mental health nursing, ANCC Board certified, MA RNPC licensed, DEA registration and MA controlled substance certification.
Licensed Outpatient Clinicians
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking Massachusetts mental health clinicians for the community based outpatient behavioral health service system. As part of a therapeutic team, clinicians will provide supervision for staff on track to licensure, office and home-based individual, family and group thera-peutic services to a diverse caseload of all ages. Experience in contract manage-ment preferred. Bilingual (English/Por-tuguese) a plus. MVCS is the sole OP clinic for MH/SA and crisis services on the Island. It has a rich history of success and many creative projects in development.
PT Emergency Services Shift Worker
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services Island Counseling Center is seeking a Masters level mental health clinician for a part time position in Emergency Services. Provide mental health evaluations to individuals and families in crisis, urgent care services and supporting the administrative functions of our Emergency Services Team. Must have transportation. Bilingual (English/Portuguese) a plus.
ISLAND WIDE YOUTH COLLABORATIVE
Martha’s Vineyard Community Services is seeking a 24 hour a week dedicated and reliable bilingual Portuguese speaking Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Island Wide Youth Collaborative. Requires experience working in an office setting, a high level of discretion and confidentiality, and working competently under pressure. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Candidate must obtain a medical interpretation certification. High school diploma or equivalent with a Bachelor’s Degree preferred plus at least 6 months of experience in clerical work.
