“Being a single Mom on the Island, it was a worry where I would get good day care so that I could work. My daughter Ariel had a dislocated hip at 17 months that landed her in a full body cast. Martha’s Vineyard Community Services’ Child Care Center made special provisions so I could work half a day. They took wonderful care of Ariel in her delicate situation. I was never worried about her and she was well taken care of and well educated. I loved her being in such good hands.
I also used the MVCS Island Counseling Center
for many years. This agency is a godsend to this community and a vital part of this Island with all the families and people they help. It has been a tremendous part of our lives and I am very grateful for all they did for us. I know they will continue their good work for a long time to come.”
