Sally Taylor, founder of Consenses, will extend and expand the boundaries of your perspective in an enlightening Consenses morning workshop. Sally will lead the winner and up to nine guests through a morning workshop where they will explore the nature of their own perception, understand their guests on a deeper level, and explore new ways of expression. Local Chef Jaime Hamlin will join the group in the morning workshop, and then create a dinner capturing the creativity of the experience in the winner’s home where Sally and her husband Dean will join the party to continue the exploration and entertain guests.
#16 An Artful Afternoon with Allen

Join Emmy and Peabody award-winning journalist Charlayne Hunter-Gault and businessman Ronald Gault for a six-course Chef’s Tasting dinner with wine pairing and lively conversation at Chesca’s for you and three guests. One course will be paired with wine from Charlayne and Ron’s South African winery, Passages. The couple lived in Johannesburg while Hunter-Gault served as African bureau chief for both NPR and CNN.

After the fun is done, you’ll want to take home a painting to remember it by. Tenth generation Island artist Kenneth Vincent, descended from a long line of Island fishermen and farmers and deeply inspired by the landscape in which he grew up, will be painting en plein air throughout the evening’s event.
