Massachusetts Alliance for the 21st Century
What is MA21?
The mission of the Massachusetts Alliance for 21st Century
Disability Policy (MA21) is to advance full community participation for individuals with disabilities.
The hope is that community members, advocacy organizations and provider agencies will embrace this concept and that it will gain full support by those who develop public policy for individuals with disabilities and their families.
It is intended for families and individuals, elected officials and other policymakers, and others such as teachers, social service providers and healthcare professionals, to help them conceptualize what a comprehensive disability policy can and should look like.
What is the goal of MA21?
The goal is to improve disability policy in the state of MA and provide supports and services that will create real and meaningful lives for individuals who have disabilities and their families.
